[11:30:47] kidPalooma: Hello, how do I validate an ActiveStorage attachment? I have tried https://github.com/igorkasyanchuk/active_storage_validations but it overwrites the attachment before running the validations so it's basically useless
[11:31:26] kidPalooma: alternatively I could also rollback the attach() but I haven't found anything on this
[12:09:06] xco: Hi I move my db from mysql to pg. On pg index names are a max of 63 characters but my migration automatically creates this long index name (in gist), how do i fix this migration so it renames the index for a shorter name? https://gist.github.com/xcobar/44179864d88f9671d393a286f79f7e2d
[12:13:48] tbuehlmann: xco: don't use the `index: true` option but rather use add_index and use a custom index name
[18:04:09] loincloth: My bin/setup script is failing when I attempt to shell out to `rails runner` because a database operation tries to operate against a default SQLite database. But I don't have SQLite in my bundle, nor is it specified in my database.yml.
[18:04:34] loincloth: The runner invocation has even been updated to explicitly supply the environment. Same result. Anybody got ideas why?
[18:05:33] loincloth: I'm not finding any general issues with runner not respecting environment like this, but I don't know where else to begin with my thinking other than things I've already checked and reported on here.
[18:06:16] loincloth: It's not even as if it's not respecting the environments I have defined... it's as if it's assuming some default of its own with no regard for what I have specified.
[19:51:43] VeryBewitching: I have a bug on a production server that I'm a bit baffled by, [gist: https://gist.github.com/bewitchingme/d184e17afa3598ec4d8b9c5e8535f3e4]; it seems to me it's having an issue finding the layout file, but I have one present for both HTML and plain text emails. Rails 5.1.1, can someone give me a hint?
[23:01:18] barhum2013: Hello, anybody here use forego to start their rails/react app? I am getting the following error “bash: line 0: exec: REACT_HOT_ASSETS=true: not found”. I had recently update to Mojave not sure if this could be the issue. Any direction would be great, thanks
[23:29:52] fox_mulder_cp: oh. i use rails as api in nginx+passenger and different react app, so i can't help you (
[23:38:24] andrewray: I have a Grape api mounted at /api in my routes.rb. I'm also trying to mount a Rails Engine, which itself contains a Grape API, at the same parent namespace
[23:38:33] andrewray: as in mount Parent::Grape::API => '/api' and mount RailsEngine::Engine, at: '/api'
[23:39:23] andrewray: can those both coexist? when I run rake routes in parent app, I don't see the mounted Grape API inside the Engine making URLs
