[07:58:54] Synthead: I'm trying to start a basic rails app. I did a "rails new", and "rails s" shows what I expected, but when trying to load localhost, I get this:
[07:58:56] Synthead: #<LoadError: Error loading the 'sqlite3' Active Record adapter. Missing a gem it depends on? can't activate sqlite3 (~> 1.3.6), already activated sqlite3-1.4.0. Make sure all dependencies are added to Gemfile.>
[12:47:00] snk: i saw that recently too... i want to say that sqlite 1.4.0 isn't compatible with current activerecord or something.
[14:33:16] andywww: on action cable, with a connection sitting above the channels and doing the authenticating, what is to stop an authenticated user from manually connecting to another channel in the browser console and eavesdropping on another (for example) chat session?
[14:33:49] andywww: what I’ve read so far doesn’t seem to suggest it is possible to authenticate at the channel/room level
[15:43:32] yaw: weird thing happening: SQL generated by AR, when ran against the DB produces one more result than I get in the application
