[14:18:22] xco: just to confirm, you can’t test modules with minitest right? i haven’t found any link on google concerning this, i only see “testing modules with rspec” will i be right to assume minitest can’t test modules, only classes?
[14:27:22] tbuehlmann: modules are classes, but this is not what you're after I guess. why wouldn't you be able to test a module?
[18:56:04] reactormonk: I'm debugging the asset pipeline - if I run config.assets.debug = true, everything works, if I run config.assets.debug = false, there's some undefined errors on the JS side - I assume some files aren't loaded in.
[20:14:35] Slogger: I'm having trouble with subdomains in integration tests. Namely, calling "host! 'xyz.abc.localhost'" doesn't seem to do what I expect. I can call it and later "redirect_to root_path" acts like there's no domain/subdomain present (rather than being for 'xyz.abc.localhost'). I've also tried lots of different ways to set default_url_options so that the host gets treated correctly to no avail.
[20:20:14] Slogger: Is there a canonical way to test that lets you change domains/subdomains between tests and have things work?
[21:47:01] Slogger: Very vanilla ActionDispatch::IntegrationTest. I made a simplified project with base case and it's not having the same issue. Kind of wondering if it might be related to Omniauth at this point, though it's just a suspicion.
[21:49:54] Radar: Slogger: Ah rightio. I have an example with Capybara that I could share if you were using that. I dont' know about AD:IT
