Hi everyone, I am the developer of the Passenger app server. We are on a mission to improve the state of Ruby application delivery & operations (and to improve Passenger too). Could you help us by participating in this 5 minute survey? https://phusion.typeform.com/to/Nih9Un
Hi everyone I'm the author of the Passenger application server. We are on a mission to make Ruby application delivery, operations and management easier and better. Please help us by participating in thus survey: https://phusion.typeform.com/to/Nih9Un
thanks for the feedback. on the documentation side we've improved that a lot. take a look at www.phusionpassenger.com/library :)
we realized that the one-long-page documentation had reached its limits so we switched to something friendlier. there are now even end-to-end tutorials that cover everything from installing ruby, spinning up digital ocean and deploying rails itself
they are used to Ctrl-F to search what they need so they now complain that it's *not* one-long-page. I'm trying to reach out to one of those people (I don't know who they are) to see how I can improve the library
workmad3: what do you think of it now? I've added various tweaks to accomodate the people who are used to the old style?
tbuehlmann: as for internals, we have lots of internals documentation these days. the entire architecture is documented, how the integration with apache works is documentation
about 5 years ago it was mostly a one-person-project. nowadays we have more people. we even have a new engineer hire in the pipeline, hopefully for next month
but I'm kind of confused by that. puma and unicorn are *also* one-man projects, so how did they differ?
hi guys. are there any passenger users here, or anybody who is interested in looking at passenger? I'd like to know what you think about the Passenger Library: https://www.phusionpassenger.com/library
