[12:38:03] Silox|: Hello there! Is it possible, using a form_for to set an html attribute to a value for all contained fields (even if they're hidden)?
[13:00:57] Silox|: Can that approach be used to add attributes to <input type="hidden" name="_method" value="patch">?
[13:15:51] Silox|: Seems like that would require a lot of monkeypatching >< https://github.com/rails/rails/blob/1f5709086f1b248f1387173c9e1faa2475ecf302/actionview/lib/action_view/helpers/url_helper.rb#L596
[13:19:01] Silox|: drale2k: That would work but I was hoping for a cleaner solution :P
[13:19:06] Silox|: The full picture is this:
[13:19:21] Silox|: I had forms in tables (around the tr's) with some javascript hacks
[13:19:55] Silox|: Because forms around tr's isn't html valid, the inputs wouldn't be wrapped by the form tags, so problems all along
[13:20:06] Silox|: HTML5 added a new form= attribute to an <input> and <button> tag
[13:20:40] Silox|: so I was hoping to add form=f.options[:html][:id] to all inputs in the form, so I wouldn't have to use the ugly javascript anymore
[13:21:39] Silox|: But that doesn't work for the hidden fields which are added automaticly... I'll follow your advice and use the newer javascript hack now, thanks :)
[13:31:26] Silox|: drale2k: It's cleaner than my old hack anyway :D
[13:32:02] Silox|: http://pastie.org/10767332
[13:32:28] Silox|: I had to manually check the name of the button to figure out to use a post or a put

[20:47:25] Silox|: Is there a way to stub environments in Rails 4 tests without rspec? I have some development backdoors and I'd like to test that their not available in production mode
[20:52:04] Silox|: tubbo: I use a before_filter which returns a bad request unless Rails.env.development?
[20:52:27] Silox|: So in my tests, I'd like to stub the result of that method
[20:53:15] Silox|: Rspec does it like: `allow(Rails).to receive(:env).and_return(ActiveSupport::StringInquirer.new("production"))` but the application I'm working on does not use rspec
[21:03:06] Silox|: rhizome: True, but I'd like to explicitly test it for production
