I'm trying to apply an application template to an existing rails application, but it seems like the "after_bundle" sections don't run. Is that expected? Is there an alternative the template can use if I want to be able to create the template to work for both new and existing rails applications?
I wanted to make it such that a model cannot be destroyed unless it is being destroyed because a parent is destroying it. My first thought was the before_destroy callback, but I can't think of a way to tell the reason the destroy is being called. Any thoughts?
is there a way to make before_destroy work only when destroy is not being called because of the destruction of the parent model?
I want to set the default subdomain for url helpers, and it seems a good way to do this is defaults :subdomain => "api", but can I make this dynamic depending the the environment?
