so i have a server that runs an old rails app via nginx + passenger; on ubuntu 16.04 and ruby is setup with rvm. that works fine; but is there a way using rvm / perhaps something else without changing anything that would let me run a separate version of ruby for that app but use a different version elsewhere
having trouble getting my ruby script command that works fine within my bash/fish shell over ssh; but when its run via cron; it fails. i tried following; http://g14n.info/2016/05/crontab-best-practices/ ;; still running into the same issue ;; throwing a Bundler couldn't find some gems. (RuntimeError)

running ubuntu 16.04 with nginx; is the most recommended way to serve a rails app to plugin in passenger phusion?
havenwood: because i wasted half a day upgrading ubuntu 14.04 => 16.04 for that box ;p
