Raffy: unmetered simply means they don't have listed limits and if you use more resources than their other customers, they'll likely just lock your account and tell you to find another host.

I'm calling ReceivedAccount.scope_on_baseclass(user) and user.accounts is only pulling RecievedAccount, the STI default scope is being applied to the base class on the model that's outside of that scope.
That shouldn't be happening, RecievedAccount's Account for inheritance is different than the Account that is on the user class.
Calling ::Account from inside RecievedAccount's inherited Account shouldn't pull in RecievedAccount's class instance variables.
I've spent about 8 hours in the last two days reading through active record and trying to figure out where this bug is coming from. Ruby's internals around inheritance is not easy to understand.
