[03:58:18] tofutoon: Is there any mechanism of bundling multiple requests sent to a Rails app into one request?
[04:00:17] tofutoon: For example, imagine an api that has a separate get request for 50+ different resources. Now, imagine a frontend that makes 3 separate get requests for these resources. Is there a way to bundle these 3 get requests into one request sent to a Rails app?

[21:08:54] tofutoon: In the following arel fragment ( https://dpaste.de/bUkj ), how can I construct an arel AST that gives the same SQL? I'm running into a problem with order of operations.
[21:09:57] tofutoon: I'm hoping to replace the first version of final_window_selector with the second version of final_window_selector.
[21:12:53] tofutoon: The problem is that Arel::Nodes::Division isn't creating SQL that divides the first argument by the second. It is appending "/ <second argument>", which is somewhat odd behavior.

[10:00:49] tofutoon: Is there any way to prevent form_with from submitting as an AJAX request? The rails guide says to set :local. I tried setting :'data-remote' => 'false' and a few other variants. However, the 'X-Requested-With' header keeps getting set to 'XMLHttpRequest'.
[10:00:57] tofutoon: Any way to prevent that?
[14:19:03] tofutoon: tbuehlmann: I tried setting `local: true` in my form. After doing this, the forms don't submit when I hit the Save/Submit button. However, they submit just fine without the `local: true` option. Any idea what causes this?
[14:20:27] tofutoon: tbuehlmann: This is in response to your suggestion about 3.5 hours ago, "add an `local: true` option to the form_with call".
[14:21:20] tofutoon: tbuehlmann: My original question was: Is there any way to prevent form_with from submitting as an AJAX request? The rails guide says to set :local. I tried setting :'data-remote' => 'false' and a few other variants. However, the 'X-Requested-With' header keeps getting set to 'XMLHttpRequest'.
[15:46:53] tofutoon: tbuehlmann: Thanks. The problem is likely elsewhere in my code. Let me isolate the problem further.
[18:32:23] tofutoon: tbuehlmann: The local: true works fine. The problem was another bug in my code. Thanks for your help.

[23:49:38] tofutoon: Does ActiveRecord support the postgres rank or dense_rank methods (outside of custom sql)? I want to return items with a dense rank betweenn two specified numbers.

[09:49:57] tofutoon: I'm trying to test this patch of ActiveRecord: https://github.com/raisin/rails/tree/structural-or-add-joins When I run, 'TESTOPTS="--verbose" bundle exec rake test:postgresql', I'm getting 3 skips. However, I'm getting these 3 skips in the master branch as well. This patch allows queries to be joined with 'or' when one side of the or has a joins in it. Any thoughts on this patch? I'm thinking about submitting a pull request.
