[00:52:33] flycast: I am struggling with certificate verify failed (Faraday::SSLError) on a windows 10 machine. I am pretty new to Ruby but not to programming. I have looked for help for days in the evenings and have found one solution over and over that seems to help most people. It does hot help me.
[00:53:07] flycast: The solution is to download a cert and then set an environment variable that points to the cert.
[00:53:30] nankyokusei: has joined #ruby
[00:54:16] flycast: Is there someone that can help me get this figured out? Even though I try the solution I get the same result. I have also tried the gem "certified". Got the same result.
[00:54:24] flashpoint9: flycast: im assuming you readin this whole thread? https://github.com/google/google-api-ruby-client/issues/253
[00:56:50] flycast: Reading now. I have read quite a few that are windows specific.

[18:06:28] jhass: sumobob: hard to generalize, on that level of question I'd go for extracting each to its own method and doing a method that's just a long multiline a || b || c
