[00:33:46] r_rios: Hey, I just noticed that RubyInstaller's MSYS installation step "forgets" to pacman -Sy, so the installation of the development packages will fail
[06:23:55] Jason: Hi all, I want to match a string against several regexes in a list. I'm having difficulty -- I can match against one regex with success, but when I use Regexp.union to try to match against several, I get nil.
[17:54:20] yogg-saron: Hello, can anyone point towards a good webserver for local development in go?
[18:33:32] Zarthus: we don't really do mentoring, but if you ever have a generic ruby question you can ask it here
[21:19:54] postmodern: curious why Object#yield_self was added. It's basically the same as Object#tap, no?
[21:51:49] havenwood: postmodern: when a block is given they both `yield self`, which #yield_self just returns but #tap goes on to return `self` to not disrupt the value in method chain.
[21:52:46] havenwood: the Ruby implementation makes it clear: https://github.com/graalvm/truffleruby/blob/master/src/main/ruby/core/kernel.rb#L482-L493
[21:57:29] havenwood: I was proud they committed my implementation of sized Enumerator where Ruby Object learns its size: https://github.com/ruby/ruby/commit/dc6d7cc58e78903e8309ff94c9e7112d661646ee
