[21:15:05] SeepingN: I've had a hell of journey with ruby and ssh but a lot of it was with crappy libraries back in 1.8.7 era. 2.0 era seems to be doing ok. I'm not sure what version my server is sitting on right now, it's nothing super recent :\
[21:16:52] mustmodify: Wow, after really struggling with that, I'm finally seeing it install ruby 2.3.8!
[21:19:04] SeepingN: nice. I'd like to be up to date but just moving out of 1.8.7 to 2.0 was such a big deal, esp around ssh type things. the libraries got drastically better but the calls also worked differently. Ended up having to touch dozens of scripts
[21:19:34] mustmodify: that's no fun
[21:19:59] mustmodify: Turns out if you post to port 80 with SSL, the server doesn't take it very well.
